As men we have to admit that wearing a baby carrier can be well, interesting. Once we received this carrier it was imediately put into action. With an active 2.5 year old it is a must to keep two hands free as often as possible and this carrier works very well. My son, who was 2 months old at the time, fell asleep in the carrier within minutes and loved it. Because I am a very warm blooded person I wanted to get something that would not make me to hot...again this is the ticket. So far so good and I would recommend any guy(reluctant or not) or woman to try this out.Customer Review: good for the little ones

We got this carrier to use with our daughter when we had problems with the newborn insert for the Ergo carrier. This was an excellent option when she was small (and light). She didn't overheat, even in Phoenix, AZ. Neither did Mom! However, because the weight is all on the shoulders, it was not much good after she started to gain a bit of weight. It also doesn't work as well as we would have liked for a long baby. Still, it did the job well for those first few months until she could ride in the Ergo without its insert.

I bought this carrier because my son likes to face out, and the carrier that we had does not support that. Also, he was born on the smaller side, and Baby Bjorn carriers are made to carry babies as small as 8 lbs, so we could use it comfortably sooner. My only complaint is that the shoulder straps are not very padded, so as the baby gets heavier it gets a little harder on your shoulders (this is why I gave it only 4 stars).
It was delivered in a timely manner and the product was new as stated.

Overall, this is a nice carrier that we've used quite a bit with our now 3 month old. However, it does not have the extra back support that other models have, and I wasn't aware of that when it was purchased. My 3 month old is now 15 lbs and it's hard to carry her for more than 15 min at which point your back aches. Also, I believe there are other carriers that are much less expensive that many parents like more than the Bjorn. I think the Bjorn is overrated.Customer Review: all-around superb baby carrier

i received this bjorn as a gift and though i don't live in a particularly hot climate, i've found it to be a wonderful item. my daughter was born in winter and i've had no problems carrying her for up to an hour at a time. initially i was a bit wary as this model lacks the lumbar support panel that the Original carrier has, but i've had no back/shoulder pain and my baby is 95th % for weight! i enjoy the lighter mesh fabric and it's really comfy for baby.
