Our little girl absolutely LOVES this seat. When she was newborn, it wasn't useful but now that she is getting a bit older (2 months old) she is really growing into it.
The folding and storage is unparalleled as the seat folds neatly flat so we can store it right in the living room easily out of sight. It is a bit difficult to switch from the folded position to or between any of the three seating positions and usually requires two hands.
We can place our daughter in the seat and very easily bounce her with one foot resting against the bottom fabric. Of course, she can bounce herself too but as this is one of her favorite napping spots at the moment she isn't inclined to put forth the effort to move!
I know the price looks steep on this one, but we've found it to be a simple design that just works. The high price is what holds back the fifth star.

Just had to update-our daughter is now 18 months old and still uses this chair. It is a favorite and has held up great. She's even slept through the night in this chair when she's been sick (and the seat has been washed several times!) We even bought a second chair (used) so that we are never without one. Not sure why the price has spiked (we paid around $100, what is this $175 thing?) but it was well worth it, one of the best things we bought for our daughter.
Here's my original June 2008 review:
This seat was twice the price of our other bouncy chair but more than worth it. Baby (almost 5 months old) is a lot more comfortable in this chair and enjoys herself. Mom has to telecommute to work and has been so thankful for this chair. Baby bounces, snoozes, smiles at the toys. She never liked the "buzzing" feature on the other seat, but she loves the gentle boings she generates herself in this chair. She's very sensitive to too much motion and this chair just suits her very well.
It's a bit long, but because it folds flat, it is much easier to transport than our other, non folding seat. We take it to grandma's to entertain her for dinner, and mommy has taken it to work when she has needed to have baby with her temporarily. It's also very sturdy, mostly metal and cotton, and I like that there's very little plastic. We have had this seat about a month and I think it has a long life ahead. You do need a safe place to park baby every so often, and we have been very happy with this chair.
If Bjorn is listening, the only things I would change is have the toy bar easier to attach. We have a hard time getting the toy bar hooked on securely. She does love the toy bar though! (And I like that it's not dangling above her head-it's right where she can reach out for the toys when she's ready.)

We use this chair a lot. Althoug our baby does not like to sleep in it....maybe oneday! She spends time in it while we eat. She is not crazy about the toy bar. However this chair is very comfortable and NOT MADE IN CHINA!Customer Review: Everything that is said is true

Everything that everyone says about this bouncer is true. After tripping over the Fisher-Price Rainforest Bouncer about 10 times, I was looking for a bouncer who's base did not jut out so far. The base to this bouncer sits right under the seat, so no tripping hazard! And it is super lightweight, folds flat for storage, and the simple toy still keeps Bella entertained for hours. I also LOVE that she can use it for so long. That by itself was enough to make this bouncer worth the extra money, but with so many added benefits, I'm recommending it to everyone I know! This bouncer just arrived and in seconds my baby is sitting in it and loves it (there is no assembly). I've been wanting to buy this bouncer for a long time, but have resisted because of the price. After disliking other bouncers, I got this one and it's great. Worth the money. I like how easily can change to one of the many positions (from "sleeping" to "sitting"). And no batteries to change. I wish I had bought it sooner. It is simple, looks good, my baby is small for her age (she is 5 months) and she looks extremely comfortable and likes the bears.
