Customer Review: Perfect for HOT, HOT weather!

I have been looking for Baby Bjorn products for use in Southeast Asia (mainly Singapore and Indonesia), but they were unsuitable, until I found this one!
The breathability is exceptional, I would recommend its use during hot weather and in countries where it is mostly hot. Not suitable for cold weather places though, I have to hang to blanket over the carrier to avoid baby getting the cold draft.
Almost all front carriers do not allow itself to open completely, thus the difficulty in putting baby in (some babies will kick you in the face before you manage to get them into the carrier). This carrier is extremely well-designed, and suitable even for small (1.5m/ 5ft) stature woman like myself.

My 1 month old baby wants to be hold all the time, but the thing is I cannot do anything when holding her. That's why I decided to buy a baby carrier.
This carrier is a bit expensive, but I think it worth it (actually I was thinking of buying Baby Carrier Synergy but that one is really expensive!). You can put your baby in and out of the carrier without waking him/her up. Now I can carry my baby around while doing other stuff.
The only thing I don't like is the position of the head support knots on the straps. Usually I would wear the straps, and hold the baby on my chest, calm her a little bit first before putting her into the carrier. But the knots are on the way and can press on baby's face/eyes if I'm not careful. The Baby Carrier Synergy (or Active) has those knots in higher position and probably won't have the same problem. But I'll still give this carrier 5 stars.

This carrier works really great. The best part is that it gives really good back support which is so important when you're carrying your baby for a while. I have a sling and love that also but find this to give better support. This carrier is also great as it provides ventilation and the material breathes which helps alot as we live in Florida and it gets really hot here and it doesn't make my baby extra hot. The head support is good and she seems to be quite comfortable in it. The only thing that I don't like or find helpful are these extra straps that are to support the legs, but they seem to be too much of tight squeeze on her legs; I never use those straps. Overall this is a wonderful carrier and it make my life so much easier as I need to get around and to use my hands. I purchased this product for a very long plane ride from Chicago to Tokyo. My son was two months old at the time and it was a life saver. It allowed me to have my hands free. Not to mention the money we saved not having to buy an extra seat. I thought that I would just use it for the trip but now I use it to go to shopping and to the grocery store. The most importantly my son loves it.

There is no question that Baby Bjorn products are pricey - but they're also worth it.
We have both the Air and the Active and they have been well used.
The air carrier is well made and there is a feeling of stability while carrying our daughter - even though the mesh fabric is very light.
Our daughter was much more comfortable in the summer months as a result.
