Apparently this pump works for SOME people but it doesn't work for everyone- it cetainly didn't work for me. I was never able to pump a single drop! When I contacted Avent, they refused to offer a refund or an exchange for another Avent product. $50 down the drain-- plus I had to buy another pump (which worked fine). Avent doesn't stand behind their product. I wish I'd known this before I wasted my money.Customer Review: WASTE OF MONEY 1 Stars
I have tried to use this pump on several occasions.... like the book says:after a shower, after a feeding, before a feeding, and so on. The suction is not there at all. I haven't even bought another pump so that i don't waste my money, there is no returns (which i understand why);however, i think that the retailers should stand behind the products they sell, why should we have to deal with the manufacturer?!Customer Review: SECOND TIME AROUND

I used this breast pump three and a half years ago with my first son. I was able to pump/store milk in order to return to work. This pump was very easy to use compared to the ones in most hospitals. Therefore I will be purchasing another one for my baby due in November. I highly recommend this and any Avent product to any mother who plans on returning to work before she stops breastfeeding.Customer Review: convenient, but it hurts!

This pump hurts like crazy! I guess I just don't have the tolerence for 30 minutes of pain every few hours. With this manual pump you have to pump one side at a time. Thus it takes just as long as it would to breastfeed so why not just do that? The cost of this manual is great, plus you get storage containers that you can use as bottles. Those are the only two reasons I gave it 2 stars.Customer Review: My wife likes this breast pump

My wife used the old version of the avent breast pump and now that we are having another baby she bought this one with confidence because the product it's excellent, plus the kit that comes with the pump it's great and you won't need more feeding bottles if you are preparing for breastfeeding. You can store the milk in the refrigerator and in the freezer to preserve it even more.
