Customer Review: BEST BOTTLE FOR BREASTFED BABIES
Summary: 5 Stars

We had the hardest time switching our daughter from breast to bottle... we tried everything. And I mean every bottle on the market!!! So right before I went back to work I went to the pump station (a fantastic store for nursing moms in the Los Angeles area that I totally recommend). They had one Adiri bottle left, (as the company has now gone under) but the woman at the store told me she had heard great things about the bottle. So I took it home and tried it and she actually took it! It was so fantastic that I ended up buying a few more online. I just don't understand why this company ever went out of business? Our daughter is nearly 5 months old and we still use the stage one flow but I plan to try the stage two soon. And we have not had any problems with nipple confusion, she still nurses when I'm home. I recommend this bottle to any mother having trouble switching from breast to bottle. It was a lifesaver!!

Customer Review: Interesting Concept
Summary: 3 Stars

The idea behind the design of this bottle is pretty fantastic. When I discovered this bottle, I put it on our baby registry before the arrival of our newborn. I figured it'd be a good way to transition between breast and bottle, so my spouse could feed our daughter expressed breastmilk when I needed to be away from the house. We introduced the bottle at about 3 weeks, and she seemed to take it okay, BUT it was a huge mess. When she nurses, she doesn't really leak milk all over herself. When she takes the bottle, however, milk goes EVERYWHERE. It's not that the bottle is leaking but that the drip must be too fast (and we haven't adjusted the flow to increase it because she's still a newborn). Maybe some of this has to do with distinguishing between bottle and breast nipples, but I'm not sure that's what it is. Perhaps this bottle is a better design for older babies. Time will tell.

Customer Review: Helped my daughter LEARN to breastfeed
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter was born prematurely at 33 weeks. She could not latch on. We were at the hospital in the NICU unit and she was still being tube fed after two weeks because I was still trying to breastfeed with her. Finally the Dr. said we could go home if she learned to take a bottle (of breastmilk). She did immediately and we were off. At home, I tried for FOUR months to get her to latch on. I tried when she was hungry (disaster), I tried when she was not hungry...nothing. This was back in 2007 and the BPA issue was starting to get press and when I heard about it I immediately researched BPA-free bottles. I found the Adiri and ordered all three stages. No need! After a few weeks of the Adiri stage one, I put her to the breast and she latched on! Could have been coincidence, but I don't care, I never needed a bottle nor breastpump after that day.

Customer Review: Nice Bottle for Breastfed Babies, Tough to clean
Summary: 4 Stars

I am a Mom of 4 and I have used almost every bottle there is with all of the my children. Now that there are concerns about BPA, I went through and pitched all of my "unsafe" bottles. I bought an Adiri bottle based on a friend's recommendation. My daughter really likes it. I would say it is probably one of the closest things to nursing as possible.
There are a couple of downsides to it. The nipple portion of the bottle is very tough to clean. I need a long skinny bottle/nipple brush to get all of the milk out from inside the nipple. Also since the bottle is clear, it is pretty tough to read the numbers on the side to measure the amount of water needed to make the formula. I can see them, but my Mother when she babysits can barely read them.
Overall this is a good bottle and I would recommend it to others.

Customer Review: the design could use some improvement
Summary: 2 Stars

I purchased this item for my 3 month old strictly breastfeed baby hoping that it would help with the transition to him using a bottle so that other family members can feed him the breastmilk. The truth is that the baby hated it. Although the overall design is soft and very similar to the breast, the nipple part that goes into the babys mouth is much too hard and stiff. if it was made of the same softness as the rest of the bottle perhaps baby would have accepted it with ease. After trying many different bottles, i bought the Playtex Drop-ins bottle with the latex nipple because it feels natural in the babys mouth. That is the only artificial that my baby accepts. Now it would be great if the manufacturer combine the breast bottle nurser with a similar soft latex nipple used in playtex :)
