I bought these as an alternative to the velcro swaddlers that my little girl always squirms out of, and to use in warmer weather. Unfortunately, on warm days I found she was sweaty after being wrapped in these. And it took some practice to wrap her tightly enough to keep her from squirming out of these too. (They're fairly stretchy.) But the wraps themselves are adorable and so soft. Even though they aren't all I'd hoped for, I still love them. Customer Review: Great for swaddling

These wraps work really well for swaddling. They are large enough to actually wrap around my son and stay wrapped. They are light weight enough that we have been able to use them through the summer. Each time we wash them they get softer.

Love, love, love these blankets! We had received a lot of blankets as gifts, but once my daughter got over 10 pounds, the typical baby blankets (& especially receiving blankets) were just too small to swaddle her anymore. The Aden & Anais wraps are huge, yet they're thin, so I can fold one up small to keep in her diaper bag. It's great for so many uses: swaddling, a quick rain throw over the carseat/stroller, a throw on the ground for play/diaper changes, etc, throw it over her to keep sun off when I'm holding her, a great nursing cover (super lightweight), and a wonderful blanket (even though it's lightweight, it somehow helps keep the warmth in). They wash wonderfully and just keep getting softer over time. They're not cheap, but they're so multi-purpose, I'd recommend these for anyone and will be buying them as gifts in the future. Oh, and I love the patterns on the Pink and White set...really cute.Customer Review: new favorite blankets

my husband and i purchased these when our son was about 2 months old. we were looking for a lightweight blanket to swaddle him in. these are perfect. large size, soft material, and our son loves to snuggle with them.
we have since bought at least three more sets to give as gifts.
honestly, i wish they had grown up sizes! ;o)

I ordered these when I was pregnant to swaddle our baby with, and when I recieved them I felt slightly disappointed. They seemed thin, and not very durable. Plus at $42 for the four of them they were not cheap! They were nice and large, and the print was cute, but I was not sure how they would hold up. Then our son was born, and now I have no idea what we would do without these! Once you wash them they get super soft, they wrap perfectly, and because they are light weight mold to the babies shape, can be packed easily, and if its cool out can be layered with another blanket for warmth. They are also very breathable and absorbent! They are hands down the best blankets out there! We use these literally all day, everyday, and not just for swaddling! We cover his car seat with them when we go out, we put them on the floor as a play mat/changing pad, use it as a burp cloth, and I even bought a nursing clip so I can use these as a nursing cover in public. Nursing covers are $30-$40 alone, and that is one less thing to put in the already crammed diaper bag. They also hold up awesome in the wash. Our son has spit up on these, peed on them, pooed, they have been dropped, used to clean up milk and formula, and just gotten generally icky, and have come out of the wash pristine and soft as down every time. I love these. LOVE. It also doesn't hurt that they are super cute too. We get compliments everywhere we go on how cute they are. I would maybe say my only complaint is the price tag, but considering the use we get out of them I would say its well worth it. Plus Aden and Anais put out a line for target and they are $29 for a four pack of these wraps! We have purchased two more packages, and they are just as nice! Seriously, if I had to pick five baby items I could not live without, these would be on that list.
