We love our GumDrops! My son had a lot of difficulty latching on so we first used a Soothie to help him improve his sucking. The only problem is that they had to be held in his mouth as they would always fall out.
We got 2 GumDrops when he was 5 weeks old and they have been wonderful. He loves them, they haven't interfered with breastfeeding (he latches on great now) and he can actually hold one in his mouth. Also, the similar shape makes transitioning between the pacifier, the breast and the Soothie nipple bottles a breeze. While I tend to misplace all sorts of thing (keys, cell phone, etc), I always keep track of our two GumDrops!

My daughter wanted to constantly use me as her pacifier and I tried every pacifier in the store but she wouldn't latch on to any of them for more than a few seconds. I read the reviews and decided to order a few of these so that maybe I could get a few hours of sleep instead of having her 'nurse' off me all night. They worked wonders! These are the only pacifiers she will use. They are lightweight, which is great b/c they're less likely to wake her up by falling out of her mouth once she's asleep. After trying four different types of pacifiers, my exclusively breastfed baby would only use this pacifier. I like how the pacifier does not have hard parts, minimizing the ring around the mouth, and the nipple is round rather than odd shaped. As this type of pacifier is difficult to impossible to find in major retail stores or local drug stores, I ordered it from Amazon and had prompt service with great communication. My daughter is 10 weeks old she loves the Gumdrop pacifiers, she won't take anything else. We used the Soothie brand as we were given it in the hospital but they are too big and round and the Gumdrops fit their little faces just right. I am recommending this product to all new Moms.
