Customer Review: Great Idea - Poor execution

I was simply looking for a protective cover for the bath spout so the kids would not hurt themselves. But when I saw this, I thought it was a great idea.
Once installed, the first one perfectly worked for about a week before the readout simply began to only display that hot water was coming out, even if only cold water was flowing. I returned it and Amazon quickly shipped me another.
The second one only lasted a few days, somehow water leaked into the display readout and it stopped showing a legible readout.
It's too bad. This product is a great idea, and when it did work we were very pleased. They need to work on the manufacturing quality control a bit more before I can recommend it.

This product was faulty and did not read the coorect temp. The water was ice cold and it read 141 degrees. I was very disappointed with this product especially when we returned it to see if was just the meter and we got a new one that was still faulty.Customer Review: It works perfectly

It does exactly what it says and works perfectly. While I think it is a product you can live with out (why I gave it 4 out of 5) I do think it is wonderful. My husband and I both agree that bath time is much easier. I also like that it covers the spout with a nice rubber casing .. makes me feel better now that my son is getting so active in the bath tub. My husband and I also used to ask each other what we thought of the temp before putting our son in it. Now it only takes one of us (& the Bath Spout) to know that the temp is just right.
I will also add that the first one I received did not work. It had an E2 reading on the screen (apparently an error message). I emailed them, they IMMEDIATELY replied and sent me a new one (NO cost to me). It was EXCELLENT customer service ... 5 STARS!!!

After this wouldn't work for us, my wife tried giving it away to the women in her mothers' group. Not one of them had a tub/shower fixture that this product would actually attach to properly.Customer Review: I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT BATHTIME

I love this product, I feel much more confident bathing my newborn knowing that the water is the right temperature. The soft spout cover is a nice added touch.
