Baby Products Reviews of 3 Pack Snack Trap (colors may vary)Customer Review: Snack Trap Summary: 4 Stars
What a terrific invention!! We give our daughter all sorts of foods in these cups (Cheerios, Veggie Booty, Cheddar Bunnies, etc) and the innovative lids really help keep the mess to a minimum. Now that isn't to say we never have to clean Cheerios out of her carseat or stroller, because we definitely do! Still, she is by no means ready for a baggie or an open container, so without these containers she wouldn't be able to "snack on the go."
My daughter is almost 19 months old and cannot get the lid off the cup, but I have heard of children who can. I think my child is too interested in the food to spend time wondering about the lid!
Customer Review: I give one at every baby shower now! Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of my top 10 must-have's for every parent. We've been using this since DS has been eating snacks (since he was about 9 months) and at 2 years old, it's still a must!!
OK so it isn't totally spill proof, he pulls a few snacks out and one or two go flying, or he pulls out and drops one by one, but sure beats the heck out of giving him a bowl and having him dump the whole thing all over!!
I can't understand how anyone can not find this one of the most useful things ever, guess that's why there's a million baby products on the market (case in point, a million different strollers). Cheers to the mom who invented this one!
Customer Review: Snack Trap is GREAT...I only have one little complaint! Summary: 4 Stars
I love the snack trap and so does my young child. It's great to have in the car...keeps them very entertained. They love the fact that they can get their food out themselves and feed themselves too. I would recommend buying the 3 pack as opposed to just buying one as I did. I'm planning to buy the 3 pack and keep them in different places (car, husband's car, highchair, etc.)so we'll always have one handy.
The only complaint that I have is that after using the Snack trap for awhile the plastic on the top that keeps the snack in starts to wear out. Thus making it easier for my toddler to dump out the contents of his snack trap.
Customer Review: Snack Traps are a Godsend! Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little skeptical about these when I bought them, but after another day of picking up dozens of goldfish crackers that my son shook out of his bowl causing flying goldfish to land nearly everywhere in the kitchen, I decided to give these a try. My son didn't like the lid at first, it took him some time to reach in there willingly, but hunger won out over the strange feeling on his hands. Now we use them all the time. They don't prevent spilling altogether, but now instead of dozens of goldfish, I'm only picking up a handful. I'll recommend these to anyone who's child likes to shake whatever dish they're using at the time!
Customer Review: Great idea, poor execution Summary: 2 Stars
For the first couple of weeks the Snack Trap worked perfectly. After that, my daughter (7 months old) figured out how to remove the top (it is just a soft plastic cover like a tupperware, but easily removed), and we have since been struggling to keep her from dumping, throwing, or shaking the snacks all around the house.
On the positive side, the flaps for the top are very soft, and when she does reach in, there is no worry about her harming her hands or fingers. If only the lid had a locking mechanism or was screwed on, then this would work perfectly. As it is, my daughter loves it, but we hate cleaning up the mess.
