Baby Products Reviews of 3 Pack Snack Trap (colors may vary)Customer Review: Almost perfect Summary: 4 Stars
My 14-month old daughter loves these snack cups. She can monitor her snack time, eating as much or as little as she needs. She loves carrying around a snack cup in one hand and a sippy cup in the other.
The only reason I give it 4 stars, is because she has a tendency of keeping her hand in the flaps while walking around. This makes single Cheerios fall out here and there. But, nothing compared to giving her snacks in an open bowl. I've only used them on Cheerios so I can't comment on other snacks (she tends to choke on Goldfish so she only gets those while sitting in the high chair).
She hasn't tried taking off the lid like other reviewers, so that's not a problem for us (at least not yet). We use them all the time and I definitely recommend them.
Customer Review: Perfect for use on the go Summary: 5 Stars
After a long two hour drive to visit relatives during which I had to hold a hand full of cereal in my hand over the seat to keep my hungry 18 month old happy, I went in search of this cup. I was so thrilled when it arrived that we broke one out and tried it right then and there. We are very happy with the Snack Trap. We've tried it with big things such as animal crackers and smaller things like apple bits and have had success with everything so far. My son was notorious for dumping anything I gave him in a bowl. While it is true that he can figure out a way to dump the Snack Trap if he wants to, I find that as long as I only give it to him when he is hungry, he uses it properly. We are very happy with this product and will probably be purchasing more in the future.
Customer Review: Buy Several! Summary: 5 Stars
These little snack cups are great! They can be filled with Goldfish, Veggie Puffs, Cheerios etc. The smaller foods such as Cheerios do spill out more easily - especially when my little darling intentioanlly shakes the cup upside down, however the mess is much less than it would be with other snack cups. She was able to use these cups easily at 11 months. I often use toy links to attach the handle of the cup to her stroller, shopping carts etc. Snacktrap.com sells these cups in a wider variety of designs on their website, but they are more expensive there. They do however, offer the stay fresh lids that Babies R Us does not sell (I wish they would). Older children will like these cups also & they will get a lot of use, so I recommend buying several!
Customer Review: LOVE IT! Worked great for my kids - a lifesaver on long car trips Summary: 5 Stars
My sister bought this for my kids and I loved it. We take long trips from Iowa to Georgia and this Snack Trap was the perfect way for my children to have a snack in the car without the mess. Although my kids never did take off the lid, the lid isn't real tight. The flaps are really soft as to not trap your child's hand inside. I've used two for over 2 years and they are still working perfectly. The cup itself is very durable - it's been tossed and dropped MANY times and still not a crack! I liked all the character designs on the cups - my son has a lion, my daughter an elephant. It's a must have for me - so much that it was my first new purchase when I was pregnant with my 3rd child - she got a turtle design.
It's a worthwhile purchase!
Customer Review: AWESOME Summary: 5 Stars
Of all the things I bought that I found I did NOT need with my first baby, this is one product that is inexpensive and so worth it! Before I bought these, I used Take N Toss Snack cups with lids and my child would just dump it out once she figured out how to turn the lid to the open position. Then I switched to Ziplocs and of course, crackers and Cheerios went everywhere. So then, I tried this and barely a cracker gets out! Helps me keep my car and house clean! YAY!
****UPDATE*** My child is now 20 months old and crafty. She has reached a point where she occasionally takes off the lid and dumps her snacks if she's not supervised. Even so, I still HIGHLY recommend this product!!!
